By accessing or using Lexy ("the Service"), operated by HairDAO Association ("HairDAO"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lexy is an AI-powered patent document generation tool that creates draft patent specifications, claims, and abstracts for pharmaceutical compounds related to hair loss treatments. The Service offers three tiers:

  • Free Tier: Template-based patent generation
  • LLM-Assisted ($9.99): AI-enhanced patent generation
  • LLM + Patent Agent ($499.99): AI generation plus referral to a patent agent

3. Important Disclaimers

NOT LEGAL ADVICE: The documents generated by Lexy are drafts intended for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

NO GUARANTEE OF PATENTABILITY: We make no representations or warranties that any document generated will result in a granted patent. Patent outcomes depend on many factors including prior art, patent office examination, and legal strategy.

PROFESSIONAL REVIEW REQUIRED: All generated documents should be reviewed by a qualified patent attorney before filing with any patent office.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the compounds you submit
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
  • Not use the Service to generate fraudulent patent applications
  • Obtain professional legal review before filing any patent application

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the inventions and compounds you submit. The generated documents are provided to you for your use. Lexy retains rights to the underlying templates, algorithms, and software.

6. Payment Terms

Paid services are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. All prices are in USD. Payment is required before generation of LLM-assisted documents.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAIROS AND HAIRDAO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lexy, HairDAO, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
